Quantitative Investing is when you use mathematical analysis, and modeling to figure out the value of an asset

Before computers, this was a lot of work. It still is. There are teams that work really hard to figure out which stocks have the best chance of making money. Nowadays, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and supercomputer programs are quite amazing. You can buy products that can help you make your decisions.

Of course, the human element still exists, especially in the form of program creators. However, Quant Investing attempts to remove the human error factor as much as possible. Most people rely on Quant programs but also on human decisions.
