Contrarian Investing
Contrarian Investing
Contrarian Investing 🙃 means going against the crowd. You do the opposite of what everyone else is doing.
The whole idea is that when everyone else is panicking or grabbing up shares, you find shares that are selling for cheaper than their potential value or vice versa.
Be prepared to do a world of research if you are planning to adopt this strategy. It can be risky and does take a while to pay off. Although, Warren Buffet is a famous example of a contrarian investor. If you're the kind that doesn't just want to follow the crowd, this could be the strategy you need to adopt.
