Value Investing
Value Investing
Value investing is when you look for companies that seem to be trading for much less than their book value or ones that you think are undervalued and should be worth more (because of the research of course).
Value investors play the long game. They rely on their analysis vs following the herd and emotions.
Value investing was pioneered by Benjamin Graham and David Dodd, way way back in 1934. Graham made it well-known, in a book you should read, ‘The Intelligent Investor.’
